Purpose of the exercise
Focuses on activating and strengthening the quadriceps, with emphasis on endrange extension. Improves knee control, stability and gait. Supports recovery from knee problems and after knee injuries or surgeries.

✓ Keep pelvis stable
✓ Core slightly tightened
✓ Move in a controlled manner without momentum

When this exercise?
The end extension knee standing with dynaband is widely used within rehabilitation for knee complaints, for example after anterior cruciate ligament injury, meniscus problems or patellofemoral complaints. The exercise helps restore active knee extension and quadriceps control.
In addition, this exercise can be used preventively to optimise knee control and gait. Due to the well-dosed resistance, the exercise is suitable in early to middle stages of recovery. Application, loading and progression should always take place in consultation with a physiotherapist or other qualified professional to ensure that the exercise is safe and tailored to individual load capacity, symptoms and recovery status.
