During this movement, the foot remains on the ground while the knee moves forward over the foot, bringing the ankle into dorsiflexion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"802\">The exercise is often used to improve ankle joint mobility and reduce ankle stiffness.
