The moving and unstable load creates a vibration effect during the press, requiring the shoulder muscles and stabilisers to continuously correct to keep the bar stable.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"888\">This instability causes not only the large shoulder muscles to work, but also actively involves the smaller stabilising muscles around the shoulder joint.
