Unlike a traditional crunch, the emphasis here is on moving the pelvis rather than lifting the upper body.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"726\">The exercise focuses on controlled activation of the abdominal muscles and helps improve trunk control and stability of the lower back.
