Unlike the dumbbell variant, resistance increases as the arm rises higher, requiring the shoulder to remain actively engaged throughout the movement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"706\">The exercise is low-threshold and very suitable for controlled activation of the shoulder muscles.
