Unlike the lunge variant, the upper leg is bent here, making the leverage shorter and the load more controllable.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"526\" data-end=\"768\">The exercise requires simultaneous activation of the adductors and lateral trunk muscles, while keeping the body in a stable line.
