The resistance comes sideways from the cable station, requiring the torso to actively rotate while the pelvis remains stable or rotates in a controlled manner, depending on the purpose of the exercise.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"776\">This exercise is functional and ties in strongly with sports movements such as hitting, throwing and spinning.
